A pair of Edwardian ‘art and crafts’ sterling silver hot water pots, London 1906 by Elkington & Co
Each of baluster form upon a domed circular foot with egg and dart rim. The spout opposite a wooden C scroll hhandle with shaped junction, leading to hinged domed ribbed lids each surmounted by detachable ribbed double knop finials. Each engraved to the side with a crest of of a mortar-piece casting out a bomb with flames, encircled in the motto Barn Ar Agin. Each fully marked and part-marked to lids, the finials and retaining nuts unmarked. (2)
