A pair of George II sterling silver meat dishes, London 1754 by William Cripps (first reg. 31^st Aug 1743)

Each of shaped oval form with cavetto edges and gadrooned rims. The edges engraved with an impaled coat of arms with a baronet’s escutcheon, within a C scroll cartouche reserved with rocaille and foliage. Engraved to the reverse No 3, 41 “ 7 “ ½ and No 4 42=14. Each fully marked. (2)
