A MEISSEN HAUSMALER TEABOWL AND SAUCER, circa 1750, decorated in the workshop of F.J. Ferner, the saucer painted in underglaze-blue, enamels and gilding with the 'Fels- und Vogel' pattern, with a house in iron-red, the rim with three flowers, the teabowl similarly decorated with a town in iron-red to the interior, gilt borders to the rims and concentric blue banding to the undersides, the saucer 13cm diameter, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, J. in underglaze-blue to saucer and a cross to inside of the footrim of the teabowl (2) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
