TWO MEISSEN HAUSMALER TWO-HANDLED BEAKERS, circa 1725, decorated in Augsburg with gilding, probably in the Seuter workshop, with tooled chinoiserie scenes to both sides, on scrollwork brackets, with gilt borders to the rims and footrims, the scroll handles gilt, 7.5cm high, one inscribed with letters ‘S’ and ‘n’ in faint lustre script (2) PROVENANCE: Private German collection. FOOTNOTES: A very similar beaker was sold by Bonhams, 14 June 2017, lot 42.
