Armenia or Eastern Ottoman Provinces, 18th - 19th century
Comprising a rounded brass bowl with a straight circular base and everted rim, overall plain, one side decorated with a cartouche containing an inscription in Armenian characters, 24.2cm diam.; and a similar tinned copper bowl, the calligraphic cartouche flanked by two doves and with a fish in the middle, 20cm diam.
