A large George V sterling silver ‘bath border’ salver, Sheffield 1928 by Mappin & Webb

of shaped circular form, with cavetto edge, raised on three pad feet. The otherwise plain field engraved to the centre with a crest of lion sejant supporting a scaling ladder. Fully marked to the reverse.
