A matched Victorian sterling silver three-piece tea service, the teapot and sugar bowl, Sheffield 1853 by Martin, Hall & Co

Each of lobed globular form, raised on four rocaille and scroll bracket feet. The sides with embossed decoration of flower heads and leaves, one side with a vacant cartouche. The curved spout opposite a C scroll handle with ivory insulators, leading to a hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable cast pumpkin finial. The milk jug London 1858 by Thomas Henry Francis & Frederick Francis. Each fully and part-marked, the finial part-marked for Roberts & Briggs (est. Sep 1859). (3)
