Comprised of twill-tapestry woven in coloured wools with white, turquoise blue, and black-ground inserts, the sweeping palmettes surrounding a central black lozenge invaded by filigree foliage, embroidered in white silk thread with a stylised cartouche containing pseudo-calligraphic workshop logo and numerics, added embroidered harlequin borders, cotton label on reverse printed 23896
