A George III provincial sterling silver twin handled cup, Newcastle 1809 by Dorothy Langlands

Of rounded circular form upon a spreading circular foot with incised concentric lines. Twin scroll handles. The front with engraved initials JHB in flourished cursive script above the date 1785, the obverse with initials JWW in the same script. Fully marked to the rim and maker’s mark to each handle.
