A cased set of Victorian Scottish provincial silver kilt jacket dress buttons, Inverness circa 1890 by Ferguson & McBean

Comprising 36 buttons of three different sizes, each of domed lozenge form engraved with a crest of an arm in armour embowed holding a dagger. Housed in a fitted case, branded for Ferguson & McBean Highland Jewellers Inverness. Marked INVS, F&M and town mark of a dromedary camel.

Case length – 24 cm / 9.5 inches
