A William IV sterling silver naturalistic novelty inkstand London 1835 by Joseph Angell I and John Angell I

Formed as a trifurcated tree trunk upon a mount with the symbols of the United Kingdom environed upon it, a rose, three leaf clovers, and a thistle to the back. All with textured decoration. Each tree section with a hinged lid modelled as the rings of the tree, the central central one with a clear glass inkwell. Fully marked to the base, part-marked to the three lids.
