A large group of letters, autographed correspondence, clipped signatures and other papers signed by various members of the British Royal Family and aristocracy, including: a lease for a London property (1930s) signed by HRH Princess Victoria Mary in 1934; a large family archive from the 19th and early 20th centuries of selected correspondence to and from members of the Waldegrave family; letters and notes by: Dudley Ryder, 1st Earl of Harrowby; the Earl of Shaftesbury (letter to "My dear Bexley", requesting to give an order for the admission of Mr and Mrs Baxton to the British Gallery, 9 June 1835); Geogre Douglas Campbell, Duke of Argyll (etter introducing Lord Wincklon, who is about to travel to India, 27 O;ctober 1870); William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley (note in the third person to the Managing Committee of the Botanical Society, declining an invitation to the Anniversary Dinner, 1 April 1820); George Capel-Coningsby, 5th Earl of Essex (letter to an unidentified recipient declining an invitation but asking to accept a small donation, 19 March 1835); Isabella Cecil, Marchioness of Exeter (letter to Canon Carns, mostly discussing her health, 17 April 1878); Francis Berkeley, 2nd Baron FitzHardinge (letter to Sir Brook Kay, accepting his invitation to become President of the Archaeological Society, 27 April n.y.); Henry Herbert, 4th Earl of Carnarvon (letter thanking the recipient for his account "of the way in which W. Simeon prepared his sermon", 9 November 1879; Henry Grey, 3rd Earl Grey, inviting the recipient to dinner, 4 March 1850) and many others, also including a large selection of envelope panels (large quantity)
