A Victorian sterling silver ‘blackjack’ jug or ewer, London 1890 by Cornelius Joshua Vander
Modelled after the 17th century leather original. The handle and foot rim with stimulated stitch. The front with embossed decoration of the Royal crown flanked by the initials CR above the date 1646, for King Charles I. Fully marked to the side.
