A Victorian sterling silver salver, London 1883 by Elkington

After the 18^th century Dutch model, od square form with a pierced an beaded galleried edge, all raised upon four feet of square form with rosettes. The field with engraved decoration of concentric band of geometric forms interspersed with rosettes and pellets. Fully marked to the reverse, also stamped 18838.
