A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'LYRE PLAYER' MEAT DISH. Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period. The oval body with a scalloped rim painted in enamels and gilt with an elegant youth with a guitar seated on a rockery surrounded by blossoms, all within a double rocaille and spearhead border, 28cm long. 清乾隆   粉彩繪人像花口盤 Howard and Ayres China for the West, 1978, volume II, no 348, p 359 illustrates a dish with a flute player, commenting that it is part of a set of musicians playing different musical instruments. *For a full condition report, please contact the department.* *请您联系我们索取品项报告。*
