A Victorian sterling silver small coffee or hot water pot, London 1875 by Frederick Brasted

Of tapering cylindrical form upon a gadrooned ovolo foot, the short curved spout opposite a wooden C scroll handle, leading to a hinged domed lid surmounted by a knop finial with fluted terrace. The body with half fluted decoration. Engraved to the side with a crest of a hand holding a branch of laurel. Fully marked to the side, the lid part-marked.
