A pair of Victorian sterling silver waiters, London 1854 by William Moulson

Each of circular form with a cavetto edge and beaded rim raised upon three shell bracket feet. The field with flat chased decoration of arabesques with C scrolls and rocaille with fish scale and stippled reserves. The centre engraved with a crest of a lion couchant. Each later engraved to the reverse with a presentation inscription “Presented to Mr F. J. Horne on his retirement in 1950 from the Office of Manging Director as a token of esteem from his colleagues on the board of the American Association Incorporated.”. Each fully marked. (2)
