An early 20th century sterling silver inkstand, probably American circa 1920

In the George IV style, of rectangular form with gadrooned rim with acanthus and shell corners, raised on four paw and acanthus bracket feet. Fitted with two clear glass ink well. Each element stamped 925 in a rectangular punch only.

Length – 25 cm / 9.9 inches

Silver weight – 982 grams / 31.57 ozt
