A Victorian sterling silver christening mug, London 1869 by messrs Barnard

Of cylindrical form with beaded rims, the double C scroll handle with beaded decoration. The body with engraved decoration of foliage and arabesque scrolls adjoined by pendant swags. The front with initials SEB in gothic script cypher. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath, and stamped 6830, also for Wordley & Co, Liverpool.
