A BURMESE WHITE-METAL BETEL-BOX AND COVER

19th/20th Century

Of compressed cylindrical form, the cover repousse-decorated with a chinthe to the centre surrounded by bats and undulating leafy branches, the sides with square panels enclosing leaping rabbits amidst scrolling leaf motifs, the base decorated with a chased fish design,

9.5cm diameter, 7.2cm high
