A George V sterling silver biscuit box, Sheffield 1931 by George Wish

Of rectangular form with rounded edges, raised upon four reeded splay feet. The rim with a geometric lozenge. The pull off panel domed lid surmounted by a detachable wooden lozenge finial. Each side with a grotesque beast mask with opposable ring handles. Fully marked to the front and part-marked to the lid.
