Decorated in rouge-de-fer with iron-red, black and gilt enamels, the centre painted with a passenger boat floating down a river as two ladies watch on from the shade of a prunus tree, the moulded cavetto decorated with pomegranate-form cartouches enclosing blossoms within a chevron band, the exterior with foliate sprays,
