The Christie Gallery, Bedford, by 1964

The Young Bull by Paulus Potter is housed in The Hague Museum. The almost life-size monumental painting remains one of the most famous paintings in the Netherlands. The painting spent 20 years in the Louvre after Napoleon claimed many Dutch works of art, before being returned in 1815.
