A MEISSEN YELLOW-GROUND MILK JUG, circa 1740, reserved with two quatrelobe panels depicting Kauffahrtei scenes in puce camaieu, the mask spout picked out in enamel colours, the tau handle embellished with puce and gilt detailing, 13cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue (cover lacking) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
