A CHINESE COPPER-INLAID PEWTER 'PHOENIX' TRAY.  Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period.  Decorated with a pair of phoenix to each side of a blossoming peony bush, with four smaller birds and cloud scrolls, all below a sun disc inscribed with a single ri character, 36cm diameter.
