A large George IV Old Sheffield Silver Plate salver, Sheffield circa 1825
Of shaped circular form with a shaped cavetto edge and a husk shell and scroll rim, raised upon four husk shell and acanthus scroll feet (one EPNS). The field centred with an engraved coat of arms surmounted with a crest of a demi-heraldic tiger collared erm, with motto below Numini Et Patria Asto. The field otherwise with engraved foliate scrolls. Unmarked.
