Ross, Provost of Oriel College, Oxford, from 1929 to1947 and Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University from 1941 to 1944 in German, saying he won't be able to accept the recipient's kind invitation due to his health conditions, unless the event was a scientific talk, one page, folding marks, 4to, 18 May 1931.
