A George III sterling silver meat skewer, London 1768 by Charles Wright and Thomas Whipham
Of plain form with a rope twist ring handle. Engraved to one side with a crest of possibly a dove ducally crowned, in the beak a branch of laurel, the obverse engraved with initials Q over G*R. Fully marked.
