An early George III sterling silver fish slice, London 1762 by William Plumber
the triangular form blade with pierced and engraved decoration of foliate scrolls, with a fluted junction to the tubular stem pinned to the turned ebonised handle. The underneath engraved with a contemporaneous crest of an arm vested holding an axe. Fully marked to the reverse edge.
