Criminal Interest – A George V sterling silver combination cigarette case and book of matches holder, Birmingham 1924 by Deakin and Francis

Of rectangular form with rounded corners, push button release, the front with a hinged cap front. Engraved to the book of matches lid with a presentation inscription reading “Presented to Norman Walmsley by S. H. Haysom in admiration of his pluck in arresting a shop breaker 29^th Sep 1926 at Hugh Street East Ham.” Gilt interior. Fully and part-marked.
