A MEISSEN TEABOWL, circa 1735, painted in puce with a continuous European landscape scene depicting figures and buildings by a riverside, including a man fishing in a boat and a fortified turret, intersected by four gilt flutes, the interior with a similar scene within concentric puce bands, with a gilt rim, 7.8cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher’s mark of a cross within a circle for Johann Christoph Schumann PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
