A rare Victorian sterling silver ‘castle top’ card case, Birmingham 1840 by Taylor and Perry
Of shaped rectangular form, one side with a scene of Torquay and the reverse a coastal scene Torbay each stamped “James Braham, 8 Strand Torquay” underneath the scenes. Otherwise reserved with engraved foliate scrolls. Fully marked.
Length – 10 cm / 3.9 inches
Weight – 81 grams / 2.6 ozt
