A mid -19th century American silver footed bowl, Baltimore, Maryland circa 1850 by Andrew Ellicott Warner (1786-1870)
Of baluster circular form with a chased wavy cyma scroll rim, all upon a domed pedestal foot. The body with embossed ‘Maryland’ style decoration of foliage and fruits, with birds interspersed throughout, the back with a basket of fruit upon a Chinese style table, all below a rocaille C scroll. The front with an asymmetrical rocaille C scroll cartouche engraved with crossed initials F surmounted by a Count’s coronet. Marked to the foot rim A.E. WARNER and 11.
