A large early 20^th century German 800 standard silver twin handled pedestal bowl, Berlin dated 1912 by H. Meyen and Co

Of oval form upon a pedestal oval fluted base. The handles formed as owls within laurel swags adjoined by ribbon tied oval cartouches, one side engraved “1887 10. Mänz 1912, the other side “10. D Lenzmond A.U.L III”. The foot rim with an engraved inscription in German for a 25^th wedding anniversary. Traces of gilding to the interior. Marked to the foot rim and stamped H MEYEN & CO.
