A Nicholas II early 20th century Russian 56 zolotnik (14 carat) gold mounted nephrite jade and hardwood (Wenge) walking cane, St Petersburg 1898-1903 by Henrik Wigström for Peter Carl Fabergé

The plain crook form nephrite hand rest, with ribbed gold collar mount with applied threaded wire work. The cane section of exotic hardwood (Wenge) turned to simulate bamboo, with base metal terminal. Marked to gold collar with Фаберже́, combined standard assay master mark for Yakow Nikolayevich Lyapunov (active 1898-1903) and workmasters mark for Henrik Immanuel Wigström

Length – 92.1 cm / 36 inches
