Mixed group – An early 20^th century Iraqi silver and niello walking cane handle, Omara dated 1921

Tubular form with rounded knop terminal. Niello decoration of camels, palms trees, a dhow sailing boat, the top with the Tomb of Ezra. Nielloed Will to Lou, Baghdad 1921, signed Omara, Ghanm عمارة غانم Together with a further cane top and another in two sections, this with niello decoration of the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), a boatman in a gufa among others.
