A pair of late 18th century German or Swedish cream pails, circa 1780 maker’s mark only possibly EE reversed

Of rounded circular wirework form upon spreading circular feet with rope twist rims, opposable twisted rope handles. The body with applied ribbon tied swags with tassels, a cartouche to each side, one chased with a neoclassical urn, the other vacant. The vacant cartouche side with applied rosettes, the urn side with applied repoussé busts of a Roman emperor with a laurel crown. Maker’s mark only partially struck underneath. Each with later removable blue glass liners. (2)
