An early 20^th century French Art Deco 950 standard silver table box, Paris circa 1920 by Cardeilhac

Of elongated octagonal form with a pull off domed lid of conforming shape, surmounted by a detachable black lacquered stepped cuboidal finial with chased U-shaped bars. The sides of box with applied sheet work in geometric form with incised liner decoration. Gilt interior. Marked underneath and to lid edge, also stamped CARDEILHAC, PARIS.
