A late 19th century French 950 standard silver sauceboat on stand, Paris circa 1890 by Flamant & Fils (active 1880 - 1891)

The stand of shaped oval form with a moulded rim upon three ball feet, the sauce boat of conventional bellied form upon three curved feet with husk shell junctions screw fixed to the stand, a bifurcated fly over scroll handle with shell form junctions. The side engraved with a British crest of a staff couped and raguly in fess, thereon a wolf passant. Marked to stand and sauceboat with export mark and maker’s mark.
