A SILVER BOX Kutch, North West India, late 19th century  Of rectangular form, the hinged lid with a scroll-shaped handle, the wooden structure covered in seamless sheets of repoussé silver decorated with symmetrical scrolling foliage and flowers against a dotted ground, the interior lined with purple velvet, with functioning small key and locking mechanism, 9cm x 12.5cm x 18cm.
