An Alexander III late 19th century Russian 84 zolotnik silver small tankard, Moscow 1891 by JФ (unidentified)
Of tapering cylindrical form with embossed coopered bands, a hinged disc lid raised by an openwork scroll thumbpiece. The front engraved with vacant quatrefoil cartouche flanked by foliage, repeated to the lid. Marked underneath for assayer by Anatoly Apollonovich Artsybashev, also with later soviet period control marks for Moscow 1954-58 by MЮЭ.
