TWO EMBROIDERED COTTON CHADIR PANELS Possibly rural Rajasthan, India, first half 20th century  The unbleached joined Khadi ground embroidered in deep red, forest green, black, and yellow floss silks in a variety of stitches with stylised hexagonal flowers, the borders with schematic botanical flowers, 198cm x 110cm, 75cm loom width, and another, very similar, with puce and teal blue floss silk motifs.
