AN ANTIQUE TRIPLE MEDALLION KAZAK RUG, SOUTH CAUCASUS, approx: 204cm. x 178cm. Very good type with three hooked and stepped medallions flanked by hooked panels and hooked bars. Colours are well balanced with rust field. This rug has light wer to the pile, down to knot collar and bleow in places. Charcoal-black is slightly corroded. Selvages original with very small damages on the cord edge in few places. Scattered very small old repairs mainly in one corner. Ends original, slightly fraying. In general this rug is in fair usable condition. Despite imperfection this rug till retains classic look.
