A PAIR OF CHINESE CINNABAR LACQUER JARDINIÈRES AND STANDS. Qing Dynasty, 18th Century. Each with a quatrefoil body carved with rectangular panels of precious objects against a dense ground of lotus flower heads and foliage, with key fret to the rims, raised on four ruyi head legs and supported on waisted stands with four bow-shaped legs, with similarly carved floral decoration and legs joined by a ring, the JARDINIÈREs 23 x 19; 10cm H, the stands 20 x 15, 8cm H.
