A LADY AND A MUSICIAN Pahari school, North India, 19th century  Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the lavishly dressed lady standing next to a tree and resting her head against her arm in a pensive mood, the more simply dressed musician sitting on his knees and playing a sitar, with a natural background, mounted on thick cardboard, 16.8cm x 12.8cm.
