An early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello compact, Omara circa 1930 signed Ghizby
Of square form with a hinged circular lid, with a niello lozenge with the tomb of Ezra, reserved with engraved flowers. The sides nielloed with camels, a boatman in a gufa, a mudhif, and dhow sailing boats. Signed to the side amal’e ghizby. Together with a Baghdad spoon, stamped to the terminal partially reading Abed Allah (Al Yahu). (2)
