An early 20th century Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) unmarked silver sugar bowl, probably Colombo circa 1920
Of compressed globular form, raised on three ball feet. The body with chased decoration of scrolls interspaced with acacia flowers, below bands of beading. The underside with a flat chased medallion centred with a rosette and scroll work edged with rope twist.
