A late 19th / early 20th century Burmese unmarked silver mug, upper Burma circa 1900
Of tapering cylindrical form with moulded rims, the cast and chased handle formed as a lizard. The body with embossed decoration of traditional dancers some wearing Mahakala masks, between twisted acanthus architraves between borders of acanthus scrolls. Gilt interior.
