An early 20th century Chinese export silver tea caddy, Shanghai circa 1920 retailed by China Jewellery Company
Of compressed globular form, pull off cylindrical cap. The body with cast and applied decoration of flowering prunus branches with a bird to each. Marked underneath with an obscured artisan mark, retailer’s mark CJ and STERLING.
