An early 20th century Anglo - Indian unmarked silver cream jug, Lucknow circa 1910

Raj period, of compressed circular form with a palmette foot, the body with embossed decoration of dancing figures between rosettes within architraves below a band of foliate scrolls. The handle formed as a chased Cobra.
